Tone Haldrup Lorenzen

Tone Haldrup Lorenzen is a clown, performer, director and teacher. Her diverse inter-disciplinary work experiments with different formats to reflect on alienation, sexuality and gender. Tone co-founded the satiric performance collective NARTnART International in 2019 and the theatre company Til Lalezar Theatre in 2016, with whom she built the community arts center 12 Federal. Her work has been presented in China, Brazil, USA and throughout Europe.

She is currently the artistic director of the performance company CuntsCollective which she co-founded together with Danial Paiva de Miranda and Siri Maj Knutsen. Through CuntsCollectuve she has produced folllowing work: My Cuntry, which she directed and produced, exploring identity, alienation and home. It performed at Åbne Scene at Godsbanen, Åbne Scene, The Royal Theatre of Copenhagen, Hangzhou International Theatre Festival, CH, QI Great Wall Village Art Festival, CH. She performed and co-directed Mother Fathers Chartarsis, a collaboration between CuntsCollective and KosmoSuna, exploring seksual trauma, toxic masculinity and rebirth. It premiered at The Danish Culture Institute in Beijing, and toured in CH, DK, FR, PR, DE. Tone produced and performed in Amor Kærlighed Liebe Love, directed by Karoline Holland, premiering at Bora Bora in Århus. In 2020 Cuntscollective co-produced with Solar Real the art residency NO RIO HÁ UMA CIDADE QUE NOS SEPARA, which she curated together with Daniel Paiva de Miranda and Gabriela Cordvez in Rio De janeiro, BR. Tone was the artistic director and producer for the research project Talking Genders: Which Witch, presented at The Gender House Festival in Århus 2021. She has been performing for and collaborating with a variety of artists including: Himherandit, Christian Falsnaes, Jack McNamara, Dries Voerhoeven and Svalholm Production. Tone graduated with a Master in Fine Arts from Dell’arte International School of Physical theatre.
