In 2018, alongside SBC Theatre as a collaborator and lead performer Tafadzwa made a touring show about what would happen if there was a worldwide ban on the movement of people and every citizen was ordered to return to their place of birth. Where We Began examines where we could end up. Tafadzwa’s own story, intertwined with four others, made a production that responded to the real life situations people have to endure in the UK right as migrations and sanctuary seekers.
This was followed by Where We Are in 2020 – again alongside SBC Theatre. This was a documentary-film written by Tafadzwa exploring his journey from the beginning to his current situation. It follows on from Where We Began and delves into the then, the now and how he is still fighting against the injustices caused by a Home Office admin error.
In addition to this, Tafadzwa held various presenting roles. Most recently as a host of the virtual Promax Awards 2020 event and a number of radio presenting roles for Wired Radio and Hoxton Radio.
