Sivan Rubinstein

Sivan Rubinstein is a London based choreographer whose art uncovers contemporary cultural issues which facilitate creative public conversations. Her work is deeply rooted in collaboration with academics, artists, communities and methods of alternative learning.

Sivan is Artist in Residence (2019-20) at King’s College and a co-director of OH Creative Space, a multi-disciplinary dance studio in London. Currently, Sivan is focused on developing and creating a new working series, co-produced and commissioned by The Place, supported by King’s College London and PRS foundation based on futuristic consequences of climate change.

Her work has been presented at Bloomsbury Festival (Wellcome Collection, London), Being Human Festival (London), Arts and Humanities Festival (King’s College London), Sotheby’s, Sadler’s Wells, Migration Museum, The Place (London), Turner Contemporary (Margate), Dance4 & The Attenborough Arts Centre (Midlands). European Dancehouse Network; B.Motion Festival, Hangartfest (Italy), The Dutch Dance Festival (Netherlands) and the 2019 YAP Residency Program in Beijing, China.
