Olana Light

Portsmouth, UK

Olana makes immersive, disorientating, otherworldly installations and sculptures, mythic representations of her world view. Inhabited by a creature that is neither human nor alien, real or imaginary, these glowing environments and tactile costumes bend the fragile boundaries of our perceived reality.

Her works are fantastic and strange, inviting you into her micro-world to explore ideas of identity, belonging and otherness. She wants to extend the boundaries of the human figure, invert a sense of identity and create a new form of fantastical being.
