Lionel Tomm is a freelance artist from Hamburg. He studied Social Theatre and graduated from a Performance Studies master’s course in 2018. He is currently also working as a theatre and film director for students and young adults. As a performer, he was part of Brett Bailey’s international production Sanctuary and 2020 on stage for Ballhaus Ost in ‘verlorene Väter im Wald’. One focus of his work is on artistic participation projects, where he tries to connect arts and social-cultural politics. Besides his work in the performing arts, he’s a musician in the projects: Brexit Colada, Zerreißprobe and Monoreim.
