Lili Stern

In 2016, Lili founded her own company called A-LIST. With different but always ambitious and young members and formats she has created numerous performances. Her piece The Schizophrenic was featured in a series called Ambition initiated by the Bethlen Theatre, an important theatrical initiative in Budapest for experimenting newcomers.

Lili is interested in applying strong visual elements mixed with heavy philosophical content and social challenges, examining the individual in different situations and researching their social position. In the last two years, she has turned to site-specific performances with research about different nonverbal social involvements, and intergenerational collaborations. Since 2019, Lili has presented her solo work LOOP POOL all over Hungary.
