Lene Lekše

Lene Lekse (1995) is currently finishing her master studies at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, under the mentorship of professor Jože Barši. She studied one year at Minerva Art Academy in Groningen and one semester at EKA in Tallinn, as an exchange student. Here work is mostly presented as installation, video, conversation, readymade and found objects. She participated in many group and solo exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad. Since 2018 she has been participating in the Gallery 7:069 project, in which she organizes student exhibitions across Slovenia with a group of friends. She is a recipient of OHO award, two ALUO academy awards and the City of Ljubljana Scholarship.
