Laura Veltri is a guitarist, arranger and composer. She completed her Bachelor Magna cum Laude in Jazz Guitar in Rome, Italy, and is now about to finish her studies in Composition at Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium in Aarhus, Denmark.

Laura has been awarded with a Honorable Mention at the 17th edition of “Scrivere in Jazz” 2022 – International Competition in Composition and Arrangement for Jazz Orchestra for her original composition “Sam”. She collaborated with Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, Who Killed Bambi string quartet and is now working as conductor for the Lisbjerg Big Band. As guitarist she took part in the Liberty Orchestra, EJS ‘21 Artistic Residence with whom she has performed in Italy, Denmark and Poland and she is active in the Veltri-Neukirchner Duo, a jazz guitar duo focused on original music.
She is constantly active in musical research, participating in workshops and masterclasses around Europe.
