Judith Philippa Franke has been holding the position of Senior Artist at the MA Applied Theatre – artistic theatre practice & society at University Mozarteum Salzburg since 2020. She holds a BA in Performative Arts (University of Hildesheim, Germany) and a MA in Performative Research (Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany). Since 2020 Judith Ph. Franke has been holder of the Christoph-Schlingensief-Fellowship of RUB, Bochum / Kulturstiftung NRW.

Judith is a performative researcher and performance artist interested in creating intimate spaces of shared experiences and grasping the ephemeral – both in public and private spaces. A focus lays on the female art of walking, which she has lectured on in Shanghai, Pespas and Brnn.
Her practical work – based in puppetry and applied theatre as well as conceptual art – is directed at everyone at every age – with an extensive work body for audiences 2+ years of age.
