Jana Stanisavljević

Jana Stanisavljević is engaged in researching her own inner emotional conflicts and strives to find a solution for them in her work. In her artistic creation she explores figurative form or subjective content through drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and video. Personal freedom, setting boundaries, the question of identity, the culture of communication are some of the basic questions that the artist deals with.

Jana participated in the group exhibition “As It Should Be” for Creative Media Conference, in Novi Sad, Fabrika (2017), as well as in the exhibition “I personally” in Happy Gallery, Student Cultural centre, Belgrade (2018) and many other student exhibitions. She assisted the painter Zoran Vukajlović on the project “Homage to the old masters” (2017). She worked as a set designer for the play “Snow Queen”, Puppet Theatre “Pinocchio” in Belgrade (2017). The artist is currently making puppets and working on the set design for Marko Milošević “MKDSLTV” project. She has worked as a cameraman and editor on many projects and she is currently working as a cameraman on the play “Editor” for the Reflektor Theatre.
