Jaka Smerkolj Simoneti is hardworking and already as a student he creates for the largest Slovenian national theatre. In addition to studying dramaturgy, he also studied directing.
As a young dramaturg and theatre director he is most interested in exploring the space between dramatic and performative dealing mostly with texts addressing disappearance. Disappearance of groups of people, places, of traditions, of intimacy and the silence with which we try to deal with this sort of disappearance.
