Gergely Ofner

Gergely mostly works with galleries, in theatre, dance and music fields, using both digital and analogue techniques, creating short films, documentaries, promotional videos, or documenting performances, shooting portraits, events, concerts and theatre pieces in a documentary style. He’s also involved in the experimental and punk music scenes in Hungary.

He studied media design at MOME, and since he’s been working independently with different companies, theatre institutions, and all kinds of independent artists, to capture their visions with the medium of photo and video. Interested in all sides of filmmaking (planning, audio, video, editing, colour-grading), he often works as a one-person crew, accompanying the artists with a minimal setup, to create the best possible results in the most simplistic way.
