Gabi Toma

Gabi Toma is a self-taught graphic designer and illustrator. She studied urban planning but decided to change her path and focus on her passion – illustration. Her work combines analog and digital techniques and ranges from children’s books, comics, editorials, stationery design, painting, and jewellery design.

Gabi has worked on a wide range of projects as an illustrator and a graphic designer. She has illustrated three children’s books (Poezii pentru pitici (2017), En garde! (2018), Povestea lui Didi (2019)) and designed and illustrated a wide series of book covers. Her work also includes creative logo design projects, editorial illustration, and surface design.
Gabi loves experimenting with new techniques and has recently become more focused on animation and motion design, as she feels this adds another dimension to her illustrations and enables her to tell stories in a more dynamic way.
