

Elze is a professional dancer, dance teacher and choreographer. She is working in What a Jazz dance studio teaching Lindy Hop and Solo jazz, as well as organizing dance parties, performances and lectures with local swing bands and training the local teachers team. She is one of the organizers and the MC of Swing Paradise festival that invites international teachers and bands. Apart from working with the local community, Elze travels to perform, teach classes and spread her knowledge of swing culture around the world.
Elze has more than 10 years of experience in swing dancing, for the last 5 years she has been working as a professional swing dance teacher and performer. She has been traveling to teach and perform all around Europe and has been consistently competing and placing in various events in Lithuania and abroad: International Lindy Hop Championship (ILHC) 2018, Washington, United States: 1st place in Open Classic, 1st place Team Routine; ILHC 2017: 2nd place in Open Classic; Harlem Festival 2016, Lithuania: 1st place Strictly Lindy, 2nd place Ultimate Best Dancer competition; Harlem Festival 2015, Lithuania: 1st place Jazz Battle; Lindy Shock Festival 2014, Hungary: 1st place Strictly Lindy, 2nd place Jack & Jill competition. She has been working on different projects connected to swing dance and music: in 2017 she was a part of the group “Partners” that worked on creating contemporary Lindy Hop theatre show and performed it in “Menų spaustuvė” theatre in Vilnius. Also, she is a part of an international dance troupe “Brothers & Sisters in Rhythm”.
