Dan is “well traveled” in the broad Jazz genre, going from traditional to the Nordic Jazz vibe, with very melodic melodies and a minimalistic vibe. He uses effects with his trumpet to get a wider soundscape and he is influenced by trumpet players such as Christian Scott, Palle Mikkelborg and Miles Davis. He is always searching for ways to find new ideas, see things from different perspectives and finding ways to put this into his music.
