Cristina graduated in Illustration and Animation at IED – Istituto Europeo di Design (Rome) and worked there for three years as Faculty Assistant and from 2019 she has taught the Illustration and Media Design courses.

In 2017, she was selected for the XIII Edition of Tapirulan Illustrators Contest and in 2018 among those selected for VII Edition of Posterheroes. In the same year she collaborated with Malta Tourism Authority and IED creating textures and posters for Valletta European Capital of Culture 2018. In 2019, she exhibited, together with other authors, at Palazzo Merulana with GOGOGO! The Grade 2019 to pay tribute to the Japanese master Go Nagai. In 2021, she was selected for AI Annual 2021 – a publication that collects the best of Italian contemporary illustration. She was also selected for The Milaneser, a widespread project with the aim of telling the city of Milan through illustration made in Italy: every year 52 of the best illustrators of the peninsula are selected and asked for their personal interpretation of the city through the covers of a magazine that does not exist.

She has worked for Futura – Corriere della Sera, Slurp Design, Designers Against Coronavirus, IED, Caffè Design, Apulia Film Commission, Food Confidential, Jont & The Infinite Possibility and emerging animation and motion graphics studios. She loves to collaborate with magazines, newspapers and editorial realities of all kinds, but also enjoys challenging herself with illustration for brands and product design. Given her predilection for synthesis, she prefers a clean style with wide solid colours.

When she doesn’t draw, she likes to take care of plants and cuddle her two cats.
